re mod the mods

hi guys....

taking the deadbeat in tonight to have the side mirror LED's re installed.....
I also had a LED in the puddle light too......and having the plate LED's replaced too......

picture for those that have seen the pretty cool mod, that only one of these cars in the country that has it...to my knowledge haha....

feeling the need to do more to the car! but what......................

you know it did appear to be a bit of a process....
some of the parts had to come off to actually get to where they plug in.....
on the inside of the trunk.......it is do-able I think.....
but I never felt comfortable in that department.....

Mirror LED mod is sick... I'm not brave enough to take that on In my 2010 F150 FX4 I changed out all the interrior and exterior bulbs for LED's. The interior lights up like mid day.

Very easy install, just a couple push pins to remove on the trunk interrior trim, then easy access with your hand to reach in, to change the bulbs out.

Ill probably try it this weekend. You just pull hard on the trunk handle to remove the liner and push-pins right?

yes, that's it. if i can do it, even a 10 years old can. trust me on that . btw, you don't have to yank out the whole liner. just the few pins by the handle. the tricky part is you can't really see the bulbs from the inside. you have to squeeze your hand in a bit and by feel. if i remember it correctly, counterclockwise to unlock and clockwise to lock. good luck and let us know how it goes .

can't remember the size but if you do a search, you can easily find them here. but make sure to get error free, otherwise you'll see codes on your dash. good luck.
