Prior to buying my e550 coupe, I had an M5 (e60) that had a Dinan motor and full exhaust. I would eat up the "all show and no go" guys just for the lulz. Funny how they used to tuck their ***** between their legs when they pulled up next to me at a stoplight, their cars all tricked out.

Just my .02
That just might be the most idiotic comment I have ever read on this forum....Just my .02 So let me get this right, only cars that are crazy fast from a stop light, on the road(in traffic), should have any modifications done to it??? REALLY?

Pls sir I mean no disrespect, I won't never ever no not never do that specially to someone who drives an M5 cause you never know "otherwise might attract attention from the wrong guy in the car next to you."
OK NOW I GET your $0.02...SO YOU HAD A PRETTY FAST "M5 (e60) that had a Dinan motor and full exhaust" DROPPED MORE $$$$ TO MAKE IT EVEN MORE FASTER TO CHASE DUDEs IN BLACKED OUT CARS. At least you were honest about it

Thanks, I used the Lamin-x product looks great but the installer had a problem and it is going in for the second round on the install. The look is the smoke 17% so it is not to dark and in some light settings it looks darker.

Give it a try and let me know as I think it will look amazing on your cars.

The second install went perfect and looks amazing.

I would plasti dip the hood ornament first thing..probably take a can and do it in the dealer parking lot because chrome star on so much darkness is trife....

Plasti Dip

I also used Plasti Dip to black out my complete car. Ordered some cans from www.prodip.eu and I was truly amazed with the results. Came out great and cost me vitrually nothing. You should give Plasti-Dip a go.

Yeah I have heard good things...never really tried it..I recently sold my 2011 335i locally and I see the new owner plasti dipped the wheels black but wasn't really impressed in the look of black wheels on a blue car...and also bmws don't really take the black out look well IMO...but I can pick up a can of dip for like 12 bucks or so...so that should be good for the star..how many coats would you recommend for the star? I was thinking about doing 4-5 coats just so it looks good but I think 3 is recommended? What would be the drawback to a couple more coats? wouldn't it just make it more durable..?
