Looking for assistance in transferring my contacts on my iphone to the car. Anyone know how to do this. I click download contacts however it disconnects the bluetooth and just stays at the ready screen with 0 contacts transfered. Anyone know how to get this to work?

 

make sure all your contacts are shown by your phone, not your sim. then transfer them again and it should work. i don't use iphone so i don't know this method works in your case. but not hurt to give it a try. good luck!

 

You need something enable in phone, some privacy checkbox that you allow 3rd parties look in your contacts. I did it once, but I lost my iPhone since.

I've never had an iPhone but my Samsung Android asks permission to transfer data to the car and does so quickly and quitely.If it doesn't get permission it fouls things up enormously.Once I became aware of this request and granted permission (and also checked "don't ask again") everything's been fine...contacts transfer,phone call history shows up,etc.Sounds like there might be a similar kind of situation with iPhone.

 

have you tried to unpair it from your phone, de-authorize it from your car, then search/scan again from your car and repair them? it'll ask you to enter a code and you can enter whatever number you like as long as you enter the same on your phone. if still not working, try to take out your sim and do the above again. good luck !

 

There are several settings under bluetooth on your iphone including sync contacts and notifications

 

I'm having the exact same issue, all of the advice I've had doesn't seem to work.

I've de-authorised and authorised again, I've unpaired/forgot this device on my iPhone, I've made all changes on phone to allow the contacts to be shared but I still have had no luck.

 

This issue just came up with and cannot get text any longer on mbux from my android phone. All was working fine before 🙄
