Most uncomfortable car ever.

Regards,
Don
and I'm thinking to myself....what the hell does THAT mean???

And if you think your MB seat is uncomfortable, you should try the seat in Pobst's Volvo.
That would make me want to get one. I especially like driving my E in my HOA neighborhood with the sound system jammin out The Allman Brothers Band or some Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Hmmm...Volvo is sponsoring Pobst, who is a hired shoe. I am sure he does say nice things! But those cars are pretty far from the street versions. They even have to reprogram the antilock brakes - the street version is worse than none at all on a track.

He also uses one of my cool shirts, when there's a system in the car. Our conversation was not a driver to fan talk. We were getting him fitted into one of our systems etc.
The sound system in the E is WEAK at best, but the lower lumbar support does help make it possibly the most u comfortable car ever.
no kidding, I would not want to use my audiophile standards on any of my cars. As long as it does not sound like a stereo in an old Chevy Vega or a Tahoe that does not have a tricked out stereo LOL!
Jeez..........so far we don't like Mercedes E class seats, everything Volvo EXCEPT the seats, but including the owners, and Vega's, Tahoe's, and Audi's.
Man, what a bunch of car haters. At least I have an excuse, I deal with broken cars 5 days a week. Maybe we should all meet over at the Wine & F**k Off Forum.....or start one if it doesn't exist!
And yes, Randy, and back in the day, his wife Linda, like any driver I have ever worked with, would say VERY nice things about whatever car they are being paid to drive.

Actually we are not car haters just dislike some components of some cars.
E350 seats and HK sound, no problems for me.

What is wrong with the lower lumbar support? I assume you have the multi countour seat?
I have back problems and need good lumbar support and in my car it is the best of all cars I have owned so far.
Are you sure you are sitting all the way back on the seat? For some reason it is very easy to sit on this seat not all the way back and then you will lack lumbar support as your lower back is just too far from the support to reach. I had this issue first until I noticed I was not sitting all the way back on the seat.
The seat could be a touch softer though but is ok as is.

I am one of the lucky ones I guess who has had neither the problems with the sound or the seats. It's comfortable and the HK does me just fine. I like the way the car handles, the steering input and the road feel. I especially like the solid feel the car has on the road. The tires could last longer, 27k miles, my Audi A6 got a whopping 80k on a set of Michelin mxv4 energies, but so far the tires on the Benz, conti-whatever's have out lasted the Michelins on my Toyota Avalon. So. . . No complaints their either. So DISPITE the fact that I can't rotate due to the stagger setup, I don't feel that the stagger has cost me anything I can't live with. And performance wise it's a win also. I like the way the stagger set up looks, and the way the car handles in the dry and the wet. It gives the car a very stable feel.
Of course this is all very subjective and Your opinion can largely be influenced by what you drove before this car mor recently.
For me no complaints.
Wait this should have posted on the best car ever thread.

Dear Forum Members,
I find the seats and the whole car uncomfortable. It just doesn't fit me. It sucks. I should have done a test drive.
Sincerely ,
Quasimodo

A few weeks ago, I purchased a CPO 2011 E350 Bluetec with 23000 miles on it, comfort version (non sport) with what I guess are standard seats. I am finding the seat cushion to feel flat and the driver seat narrow. I just can't get comfortable which is unbelievable for a luxury car. During the 10-15 minute test drive, I noticed some discomfort but expected that I would be able to adjust the seats into a comfortable spot. I love everything else about the car but need to be comfortable during my 2.25 hours of daily driving. What a shame....my wife's C250 has such comfortable seats.
