E550 true BHP
Hey guys I'm new to this site and I'm in the market for a new car. Since my brother has the C55 and my cousin has the E55 I want something a bit newer and not slow.My previous cars were a EVO IX and a Infiniti M35 one really fast car and one really slow car. I'm currently looking into the 2011-2012 E550 so it will be a great car that has both speed and luxury, but has anyone ever dyno'ed there 550? I know this car is heavy and the papers says it has between 402-406 hp but what does it really put to the rear wheels.
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks,
Mike

Not sure what the car puts to the rear wheels, but if you get one , definitely get the 12'. The twin turbo settup makes it so easy to get more power at a low price compared to the 11' naturally aspirated engine. For $2700, Renntech programmer can make the car put out 530hp and 606tq,, thats sick. Makes me wish I had a 12'...

No problem, check out the renntech website for more accurate info, but those motors(tt) have so much potential. Welcome to the forum and good luck finding a new ride. Site: http://www.renntechmercedes.com/www/node/700

Porsche 911 Turbo S 2014! E63S 14, Audi S8 13, CLS63 12, E550 12, C63 09, all tuned
I have Renntech tuned E 550 4matic, I had never drove the E 550 bi turbo not tuned uuntil last week. I went to dealer and test drove the stock E550, it is quick, but difference between stock and tuned amazing. The tune is really worth the money. I pulled a 12, 5 qtr mi. 113mph.

That's great. My car is getting tuned next month. The E550C is only 3700lbs (same as an M3) so it should be a rocket ship. Although the 255 tires are probably going to be useless.
