looks very good and they look like hype's powder coated ones but only costs a few bucks ! i've never used plasti dip before. do you need to remove the wheels and tires just to make sure not to spray on the brake, tires and the fenders ? how long does it take to dry and how durable is it on wheels ? sorry for the questions but i might be interested in this if like norcal said i can simply peel it off if i don't like it down the road. btw, clear side markers will make your ride that much sweeter .

have you peeled any off before? will it leave any residue ? i've read some great reviews on this stuff. don't know it'll look good on a iridium grey, though .

It will peel like white glue on your fingers. The only prep you need is to clean the surface with alchohol first. Try it on something like a garbage can lid, you'll be surprised, I love the stuff

I'll be honest here guys, I am not overly impressed with the colour on the wheels because it doesnt really match the colour of the car. But I can get a glossifier spray and make it more shiny..
As for the plasti dip, it won't damage the car. What I did is I covered the brakes with a plastic bag so I can spray without worrying about getting it on them. What happens is you spray a few coats of the plasti dip onto the wheels, it takes around 30 mins to dry(depending on how thick your coat is) after you are done, and you can literally just peel it right off the wheel without leaving residue if you are doing it right.
As for the durability, I am just on my third day with them so I cannot really answer that question. However, a lot of people said it was durable even with snow. If you live in an area with lots of snow/rain, they recommend spraying a few more coats just to be sure.

when I powdered my stock wheels they were flat and not glossy at ALL, and with these new wheels that are glossy, I have realized I (personally) really like the glossy look better....they match the car better (obviously) but they're also easier to keep clean (might sound weird) but it it's true so far as I can tell.....I'm certain the knicks wouldn't be very pretty, but hell, we can't let those things slow us down can we???
good luck with it, subscribed,

I think I know what you mean: if you're after a glossy look then something like you mentioned would be good, but does that affect the removability later?

The gloss that I put on won't affect the removability. It's pretty much just another layer on top of the what I have now. I found out that they have gun metal silver and I think maybe that would be a better colour on my car. Maybe I will try it out if I have time.
This is the best thing about plasti dip. Change whenever you want, for dirt cheap!

If the coating peels of easily, what happens when you need to change the tire? Wouldn't the wrench shred the coating on the lug bolts?

When i was checking on the wheels last time, I don't think any of the plastidip was bonded to the bolts. Probably because of different materials?? But I guess you need to be careful to not to touch the sides with the wrench or it might tear. You can always touch it up with spray afterwards.
