low key battery message on dashboard

I just purchased a 2010 E250 4matic and the message low key battery appeared on the dashboard. I took it back to the used car dealer who replaced the battery in my keyless key. The message still continues to appear each time I turn the car on. I press ok and the message will dissapear until the next time the car is turned on. Can someone tell me how to remove the message so that it will reappear only when the battery is low the next time. Thank you.

Check your key battery with a volt meter. If it is strong then there is a problem with some sensor in the car or the key itself. Have your mechanic look at it.
