I just got the all weather mats for my 13 E350 and you are right. The height and width are exactly the same but the cut outs are deeper on the all weather mats....making cover a bit less area.

I haven't compared mine to the standard mats but they seem to fit pretty well.

I see ads in car magazine for WeatherTech mats. They look pretty good. No experience with them myself.

Weathertech is really good stuff. At the time, I think the OEM was very close in price to the Weathertech. In any event, I asked for them while signing the papers, and my sales rep just had them put in the trunk, no extra charge.

I have the OEM All weather mats on my '12 seem to fit well, though the back mats do slide around a bit. I haven't noticed them being smaller and keep them on top of the floor mats in the back (removed the front).

I have the WeatherTech on our ML. They are good fit also but the deep ridges don't feel as comfortable somehow.

One advice would be go for a dark color. I have the mats the match the Almond color on the E-class and they get very dirty and take some effort to scrub.

Weathertech is really good stuff. Perfect fit. Real protection, they come up high on the sides to trap snow or water and not let it drain to your carpeting. No deals on them. Once in a while you will find a vendor offering free shipping. You can order direct from the manufacturer. I have purchased them for a number of cars.

Quick question - are the all-season floor mats different for 4matic and non-4matic vehicles?

I have a '12 and the MB rubber all-weather mats in the rear (what the OP inquired) are small. The front ones fit well, but the rear ones are quite smaller than the floor space

Weathertech mats do not come up very high. I had them in my ML, the mats only come up about 5" in the passenger footwell, so if you put your feet flat on firewall part of the footwell, the toe area of your foot is on the carpet.
The MB allweather matts are probably better.

**And just for reference, customer service regarding Weathertec mats for the ML was a nightmare. They shipped mats without the "snaps" that go over the studs in the floor. They swore that the clips were not necessary, despite my assurances that I was going to DIE from the mats sliding forward under the pedals. It took photos, part nubers, phone calls, emails before they admitted their error. I finally had to call my CC company and get the charge reversed before weathertec finally issued a call-tag to pick them up. Regardless, the mats don't cover enough of the carpet in the footwell to be useful anyway.

When I bought the OEM all-season mats, there were no distinction between 4matic and non-4matic. Do you see options for them?
