Who has run their 550 at the track?
Just wondering if anyone has run their 550 at the track yet, and what did you run? Also list modifications if you have any.. Im thinking about a 550 as my next car and just wanted to see people impression.

although it's not an amg like what you are driving and haven't driven anywhere near the track, it has plenty power for a daily driver, especially when you are in sport mode 
. i would assume it rides a bit smoother than your e55 but i could be wrong 
. everybody has different taste. best way is to test drive it and you might want a e63 instead 
.

I got a tuned 2011 e550 coupe (5.5L n/a) and ran my buddies X6m (2011).
We were dead even to ~100mph until he started to pull on me. Had I gotten a better launch, I might have been able to beat him. Launching this car with stock tires sucks.

Ya im more interested in the new turbo motors.. I dont think I could even go from my car to a NA 5.5 L engine

Took it the track and ran a12.5 qtr mi.

I was expecting faster than that, huh.. I saw on another forum that a Renntech tuned cls550 dynoed at 490 hp to the wheels.. Which would make you think an E class due to less weight would be in the 11s?
