Try searching on google and this forum. There are plenty of posts and pictures. You will also find a post with step-by-step pics to exchange the grille.

It's easy, but it won't look like the coupe. Jus' my 2 cents..

Good Luck!

MB does not make a star grille to fit 212 sedan. If they do it it is an after market part.

I asked my dealer after I bought my E350 and they had a picture showing the ugliest possible grille I have ever seen. They asked $1050 + installation for it. Seeing the picture I said NO!

Go 55Tech. The flat hood badge from them does not fit. I bought mine from DFWdude but have not seen his posts lately. There are others though...

Completely different grille openings and designs. The Star grille won't fit (or look good on, IMO) the Sedan. You need to get an aftermarket part.

MB apparently does sell a Star Grille for the Sedan. It apparently will work with the Night vision and adaptive cruise, but I did not ask them if it was aftermarket or not. I will have to do that on Monday. My Dealer wanted $600 for the part.

I was going to change out my grille, but for some reason, I hit the brakes on that mod at this point in time.

I removed my star grill a week or so ago and noticed it wasn't sitting snug anymore......
and when the stock one went back in, it is nice and snug.....

the grill is an easy.....easy DIY task....

good luck!

Apparently so, as there are a few DIY threads on removing the E-class's front grille.

To change the grille is super easy. You first free the hood cable from two clips. Then take the air intake ducts off of the front part. Don't know what to call it. Then you remove this front part. It has some plastic clips you need to work loose. Under this part there is one bolt. I remember it takes 10 mm wrench. Remove bolt, disconnect the four clips at the bottom of the grille and it comes straight up from the U-holders at ends.

Thanks Arrrie, the threads with the photos make it look a bit more difficult, but when you compare to your lines, they match up to the photos in the threads.
