Not sure I completely agree. Yes, it's quite a difference from what we're used to but it's also still a 4-light setup. Just updated, more refined, integrated, smoother...etc.

What happen to Mercedes as being the class leader in design and engineering? This light ring led thing has been beat to death and everyone is doing it and mercedes is just now implementing it? Do something different already!!! Be a leader not a follower!! My 2 cents!! BTW, looks cool tho.

You guys have lost your mind. This is absolutely 100% away from Mercedes Benz glass design. But it helps me with the value of my car...
The 2010 - 2011 Hockey Stick front is the best looking of all E variations I have seen. Why don't they focus on improving "gadgets" and other functions of the car and leave the PERFECT look of the car alone for just a little bit longer. This light stuff is just STUPID!!! It will not be in my garage for sure.
And yes, like alloutmk23 said, it looks very Far Eastern car cosmetic BS, like a Lexus would look like.
