Yes, Gary was great, and carries a great line of products to personalize our cars.

Thank you very much. I could not agree with you more about the new v6, and that new Nav is awsome. I have always replaced the NAV units on my Amg's, but this new mercedes one is just perfect, although a bigger screen would be a welcome addition.
Beautiful Rims and well done mods. I agree with you newer Direct Injection V6 on 2012 and Up E350 comes with enough HP and better Fuel economy, E550 gives you drag race type of HP that you would hardly use and have to deal with costly Airmatic issues likely surface down the road.

They are ballasts/light bulbs HID's, you can get them all over ebay, but i put 5000K to match the new LED bumoer lights that came with Gary's bumper.

Thank you for the comments - It is a good thing that you dont have to drive in it
Im sorry, I cant stand people that use other badges on there benz's. You cant afford the real thing so dont make a fake one out of it. Its like wearing fake designer cloths. ITS NOT REAL!!!!! There is nothing wrong with the car you have now and people dont care if your driving a amg or not. I would not be caught dead in this car. I would be so ashamed of driving it or even looking at it. with the money spent on the badges, tail pipes etc its also a financial disaster. You should literally have be banned form buying any other benz.

Doesn't the E350 with sport trim already have the AMG front bumper? In the picture your bumper looks the same as mine, which is stock other than I have the hockey stick while yours is the straight DRL.

OMG. Nice car but get rid of the E63 AMG emblems. Embarrassing. How can anyone feel ok about putting stickers on a car that clearly is not what it is??? POSER!! U have a nice modified E350. Leave it at that. Trying to pass it off as anything else is just poor taste. It's not even an E550. It's a V6. Put back the E350 stickers or debadge to save some face.

DeBadge Pics
You are right, the lynch mob is out! But all in good fun, because guys that is what all this is about - Fun!
It was a fun experiment, and I wished people could have looked beyond that, and actually opined on the final result of the mods , and the fact that i took the time and effort to post ...
As my initial and subsequent thread clearly stated, my intent was always to de-badge the car, but I wanted to gauge the response that $20 of badging would do, and sure enough it incited even more emotions than I expected...
So for those of you that can not look beyond that, here is the final result... well almost!

And now onto my new weekend project... This one unfortunately has no badges, but maybe I will badge it and gauge the reaction in the Bentley forum.
Jokes aside, Thank you all for your comments and I will be interested to see the reaction now.
Here is the new project in the backdrop:
When I picked it up:
Let the fun begin...

Why not just post picture of the awesome work that you did?
Instead you buy two badges just to inflame forum members?!?
Nice job buddy!

You took the time and effort to troll the forum? If you are an avid forum member you knew the exact reaction that you were going to get.

ok, up on soapbox
if someone wants to rebadge their car, no problem, - none of us actually have anything to do with manufacturing or designing of these cars (beyond suggestions, gratitude, and complaints). I think it is fantastic that nir shared with us what was done and pics to also show us. Gives us ideas of what we would like and what we would not like, without having to experiment ourselves.
now down off of of soapbox

Really like the wheels, front bumper and diffuser. But with the + wheels it's really crying out for a subtle drop to eliminate the fender gap.
Badging has been beaten to death so I need not add anything.

[QUOTE=nir;5440967]Now that the SL55 is gone, I decided to have fun with my daily driver. Besides lowering it, i am basically done playing with it. Just came back from vegas fully loaded and was very impressed at how well the car performed. I will probably de-badge the car, but it was fun seeing people's reactions, including the salesmen at Mercedes dealership .
Mods:
Custom fitted and lengthened front seats with White diamond stitching
E63 Front bumper (Thx to Gary - Suvneer)
Hid Lights
CF Rear wing
CF Bumper trim (Thx to Gary - Suvneer)
Quad AMG Muffler tips Rep ($700)
AMG OEM Aluminum paddles
Black out paint for interior to replace wood
19" 10 Spoke Wheels (did not to do 20's because of ride compromise)
AMG door Pins
AMG Aluminum Pedals
30% Tint
I'd love to know how the side wood trim pieces are removed from the center console; I've been wanting to address the creaks from those things. Mods look nice and clean.

2013 E350 4M Wagon & 2013 C350 4M Sedan
To the OP: NICE MODS
To Everyone Else:
He obviously put the badge on because he's trying to make it look like an E63 AMG.
HONESTLY PEOPLE, WHY DOES EVERYONE CARE ABOUT THE BADGE?
SO WHAT?!?!?!?
I can put an SLS AMG badge on my E350 if I wanted to...In fact, I just might
WHY WOULD YOU CARE???!?!?!? NORMAL PEOPLE DON'T CARE! If I went to my neighbor right now and told them that I put an E63 badge on my E350, it wouldn't/shouldn't affect them...Jeez people
"The ultimate poser car: with money spent, one could have bought a real E63 or at least E550."
Why not just stick a badge on it? Not everyone is a millionaire and can spend money on E63's at the drop of a hat. Why do you care about the badge? Don't look at it if you don't want to!
"Beautiful car ruined by idiotic badging."
In case you weren't aware, the E class comes in an E63 AMG model. That's why he has a badge saying E63 AMG. If he put E65 AMG, that would be stupid. Please check your facts on the E class before calling his badge "idiotic." In case you have never heard of the E63, which obviously you haven't because the badge seems "idiotic" to you, please visit your dealership.
So close, but so, so far away.
I think he did a pretty good job. Could you do better? It's okay to admit you're jealous that he did pretty awesome AMG mods to it.
