2013 Digital Operator's Manual
Apparently MB no longer supplies the paper version of the COMMAND Manual with the latest 2013 E-class vehicles. It has been superseded by the DOM which is loaded into the COMMAND storage (assume the HDD). There is a DVD that contains the DOM supplied with the manuals incase the software hasn't been loaded so that the owner can load it themselves. The Operator's Manual contains references to the DOM throughout. I'm still getting accustomed to navigating around the information with all of the hyperlinks and keyword searches, but generally it's really a step up from the paper.

Apparently no paper COMMAND manual exists. I just got off of the telephone with Customer Care who informed me that the Digital Operator's manual is the new way to supply the information even though they know that it is abridged and contains incorrect information. It would be really useful if the DOM could be periodically refreshed for us to reload into the COMMAND system. I suppose that this is all progress, but I think that it is a step backwards.
