My 2012 E350 4 Matic Rim selection
Hey guys my names jay im 20 years old yes i know im young lol but i drive a 2012 E350 and i really want to make it look different would love to make some mods to it not to much just to make it look more slicker! I see some of you guys have a lot of knowledge when it comes to these cars and if you can help a rookie out it would be very much appreciated thank you guys!

I am chrome fan this why I inserted chrome door mirror covers . If you like you can change your tail lights as well .
I would also recommend chrome door pins , AMG pedals but your car is already AMG

Thanks for the welcome what I really want to do is get some better rims preferably AMG's also I seem that taillight thread and would love to do that to my car also change the orange side lights to clear would I be voiding my warranty by doing any of these things guys? I'm a rook I need all the help I can get haha

Your car looks great as is. If you want to give it a somewhat subtle yet unique look from the mass E's on the road, perhaps some nice, upscale and classy aftermarket rims. HRE makes a few which look great on the E as do a few others. Select carefully, as some brands/wheels/wheel styles look great, other styles cheapen the look.
Not all wheels are created equal. In addition to fitment and style, give consideration to weight, finish, durability, etc.

See in NYC the part where I'm from this is really the only E class around driven by someone so young so I really want it to be unique I see what your saying with the rims but I was also thinking about blacking my grill and my emblems in the back

welcome aboard and congrats, jay ! looks like you don't have p2. so the very first thing i would do is hid kit. then wheels, light tint, side markers, etc. if you want to black out some of the chrome pieces, try plastidip. do a quick search and you'll see some of the members did it on their wheels. looks very good. btw, being young and successful is good only if one can stay humble. looks like you are one of them .

Sounds great! You really hit it on the spot! All those things will be done I paid cash for it so I'm really just on a ramen noodles diet rite now haha but in 1-2 months I will be back on track and do all the mods!

.i personally don't feel everyone is watching me in the car and i don't like anyone to look at me anyway. if not because of my strong astigmatism and i'm on the road at night a lot, i would've put the darkest legal tint on so that people can't see me. not trying to give you a lecture or anything but making eye contacts while driving is one of the worst things to do. you may not mean anything but other drivers might think differently. unnecessary road rages are created because of eye contacts. i, of course, didn't do the research but i read it somewhere a long while ago. just eat ramen in these couple months, shop for mods and enjoy your new ride

Here's a couple pics of my 12' maybe it'll give you some ideas, all of these mods were really simple and inexpensive, not big projects at all. I think it looks pretty unique, it stands out in my neighborhood where there are at least 5 or 6 other E's on my block alone. Word of advice, everyones gonna have an opinion about you having this car at your age, just nod your head and be humble about it. I got my first brand new benz at 19 so I heard it all too. Just respect that fine piece of machinery that you own and you'll be good. Also, one down side, its addictive man, im 23 and on my 4th new benz, counting down the days till I can get #5 haha!!

Sweet looking ride man. Good luck with the mods. I like to keep mine stock, but black cars I do think look great blacked out.
It's nice to see the young guys getting into the W212s. I had a W124 at that age, though it was 10yrs old when I got it...

nice car Jay, i waiting on mine in matte white, cant go wrong with tint, drop in an inch, set of vossen wheels. keep it simple and tasteful thats all the Eclass needs. going to far they look like "your trying to hard"...
