Hey all you SoCal W212 members...

Any feedback on getting work done on your E's at Rocco's in Costa Mesa?

Joe is a good guy, runs a tight shop and does first class work. I had a radar detector installed and integrated it with the MidCity Engineering module and couldn't be happier. He does all the work himself and takes great pride in making it perfect.

I was wondering about that shop too. Saw great reviews online for it. I was looking at places to install some parking sensors for me. I don't know if he uses OEM parts or aftermarket. I called in, but he wouldn't tell me(understandable). Anybody know if he uses OEM or aftermarket parts?

He's tied in fairly well with Fletcher Jones, Laguna Niguel and Foothill Ranch locations. They highly recommended him when we moved her as did the folks at MidCity Engineering. I'm sure if you specify (and are willing to pay for it) he would use the OEM sensors.

I've seen his work on the rear entertainment systems in the OEM headrests and they are killer.

A few years back, Joe installed the bluetooth phone on my very old W210 (E320 MY2000). MB is a very complex in electronic, I do not want any problems down the road, Joe did an excellent job. The bluetooth still working in my old car, even I changed the phone often. I trust Joe, he know what he did. I saw him working on the radar detector on a SLS while I was there. It's not cheap, but the work he did is good.
