Does the trunk spoiler help keep the back clean?

This time of year, it seems the car is a little dirty, but the back bumper and area around the license plate are really dirty.

I'm not too keen on the look of either the window or trunk lid spoiler, but if they keep the car cleaner longer, then that's good.

Does anyone have experience with before/after?

Thanks in advance.

I think it makes the car look tacky like a modified Civic. Just my opinion of course. I would not bother with the front or the roof spoiler (which I thin looks even worse than the trunk spoiler).

A spoiler won't do anything for that.

One could probably design one to keep the back clean, but the little strips available won't do anything to help. I drive approx. 100 miles every day; one drive in the rain and I really hate touching the trunk to open it - all the dirt in the world is somehow just in that spot and around the lic.plate.

why do you need to touch the trunk to open it? you can use the key or the button inside the car, right ?

Sure and thanks, but I'm a creature of habit and instinctively reach for the trunk only to find dirt! Always use the Start/Stop button though although new to me, so definitely a work in progress over here

The spoiler can actually make it worse for the cleanliness of the back of the car, definitely does not help to keep it clean but I don't think the small trunk lid spoiler does anything for the cleanliness. It is just for looks and here I disagree with you as I think it really makes the rear of the car look better.
