K-A: You are driving like a whack-o because you turned to the dark side. As a BMW driver, aren't you required to drive like a whack-o to keep your warranty valid? I am always amazed at the mileage on used BMWs. BMW drivers certainly seem to actually drive more than MB owners. At least here in the states.

Man that purely sucks. I was headed to Phoenix in my brand new Honda Civic, when I smacked a tumble weed at 80mph with my front clip. Oh man put a nice swath of 1000 scatches in a basketball sized area. Granted it's a Civic but it was new and I freaked. Almost ruined my vacation. Anyway that was 4 yrs ago and now I don't care. I love it when I make it to that stage cause that's the most enjoyable time of car ownership. I just have never made it to that stage with my Benz's, lol.
I also looked at the clear bra, but it freaks me out thinking of a wet squegee flowing across my paint. I'll just let my car age gracefully I guess.
I think if I leased my vehicle I wouldn't care as much. Maybe that's why KA should only lease, buying may just throw him over the edge and we'll find him in some psychiatric ward drawing mercedes and beamer marque logo's on the wall with his own poo. lol

I'd hate to know how bad I'd be if I bought a car again (my last buy was my W211). At least with a Lease I can keep kicking myself as to why I am THAT meticulous with it.... I guess I always want to have a good option were I to have incentive to, or want to purchase after Lease.

It's all good, I take it in Monday and then head off to China for a couple weeks. It will be done when I get back so all I have to do is reinstall my LI "parking sensors" and radar detector when I get home.

I can still remember in about 1965 driving my 62 pontiac west all day into a strong head wind on I,90 in new york, dirt was swirling and I was fighting the steering wheel. Bottom line the windshield got road rashed, maybe I'll think of this before driving my benz at hi speds on a windy days.
