Trade? Anyone want to trade My Walnut Burl for their Black Ash?
Getting a 2013 new E350 with walnut burl, but would love a black wood insert theme instead. Would anyone like to trade?
I've also posted this in this section because my next question is, would this be a difficult swap to do by myself?

The trim runs about $2400. It is not that difficult to replace, as, I had my burled walnut trim replaced due to the fading issue. I would think it would be the same regardless of the trim.

I will definitely keep you in mind if I end up getting a sport with Black trim. It is the number one reason that I pass on them.

If I had black ash I'da done this with you. M-B's, especially a kind of somewhat classically themed interior like the W212 look best and most natural with Burl Walnut, IMO.

Oh no worries, was just thinking you may have wanted to do it, then we could PM. Well, it would be an even trade, labor and parts. Some are handy enough to do it themselves, etc.
