TRS HIDs and new rims.
Just installed HIDs I had ordered from The Retrofit Source on Saturday. They are 35w 6000k. Im also waiting for my city/parking lights to come in. I took the pictures with my iPhone 5 so they're not that great.
Also went to check out the rims, they looked great so I put in the order along with a CF grille. Should have them on Saturday

Its a PITA for the driver's side. I have the same H7 Morimoto Kit (mine's 5K though) and had a very detailed thread on how to install them in the W212.

the photo shows a beam which is poorly focused and displays some degree of
uncontrollable glare. probably a result of the rebased HID bulb on an H7 mount
and used in a projector spec-ed for halogen bulb. how does the beam lay out
on the road?

I was first looking at deep dish but once these caught my eyes i was like lol
Before installing it I knew it wasnt going to be perfect. I compared it to my sisters new C-Class with the Bi-Xenons in a dark alley, the layout was kind of similar but hers were much sharper and cleaner. I even had a friend drive it up and down the block while I was sitting in his car to see if it blinds people but everything was fine. Its not perfect but its more than good enough for me.

The beam looks fine. Im running HIDs as well, havent got flashed once. I get more people flashing me when im in my truck or jeep without HID.
I hate it when people are so quick to judge. Were not running 8K in a honda civic or envoy.
Were running 6K in a focased projector housing....it wont blind people.

wall. compare that with any OE headlight and you'll understand better. the ºKelvin
has nothing to do with the glare or focus

Congrats on the lighting upgrade! Huge difference over p1 halogen output.
A couple weeks ago, I also bought and installed this same HID kit from trs as well (except I got it with the 5k bulbs). This is just an observation but it seems there's some excess light "spraying" above the "cutoff line" in yours -- at least in this photo. In my light output above the cutoff line, it's relatively clean of any excess light.
I'm just wondering what might be causing that. I'll try to take a photo of my light output tomorrow night for comparison.
BTW, do you find the 6k light a bit too blue? I ask because my 5k bulbs' light is noticeably bluer than my BMW X1's oem xenon output. The 5k even seems a bit bluer than the LED hockey sticks.

The output from my OEM HIDs on my S350 is very similar to that in the picture. It looks like a very well executed conversion product. Just my two cents.

When they first go on its pretty blue but as it warms up it gets a bit whiter.. It took me a while to decide from 5k and 6k. Im very happy with them, i would like to see what the 5k looks like.
