Took the plunge Wednesday and placed my order for a 2014 E 350 4Matic Luxury.

Burl walnut trim.
Palladium Silver with Almond leather
Premium 1 package
Lane tracking package
Wood/leather steering wheel
Illuminated door sills
Active ventilated seats
Comfort box

The dealer was able to change one of the cars on order, so I have a production date of the third week of March, with expected delivery the beginning of May. The only things I really didn't want are the now standard stop/start function and run flat tires, but neither were deal breakers. Now the hardest part, the waiting, begins.

 

nice car.....see if you can convince your dealer to swap out the run flats for normal tires (hint: the run flats are in short supply...he might just want some in his stock).

Yeah, Hype. Illuminated door sills are not one of the more prudent ways to spend your money, but some things you just gotta have. They had a CLS in the showroom with them, and that did me in. I traded in my 2010 E350. Haven't posted here since I had my C300 (it was actually her that was named Betty White). Been a frequent visitor, though.

funny you mention the cls because I have them in that car too
a very bright white light versus the very cool mellow blue in my 550....
I've considered some sort of colored film for the cls sills

I am looking at purchasing a 2014 E350 with a loan. When is the good timing?
