E350 Navigation - Questions.. Not Impressed..
Hi All-
Just took delivery of my 2013 E350 with Premium 2.. I was messing around with the navigation, and the default view is terrible. If I'm driving South the map is flipped around the opposite direction. My point being, is there a view that allows the arrow (me) to always be facing the direction of travel, or a setting that allows for a non birds eye view at all times, similar to a garmin view, or traditional navi view? Would really appreciate it, otherwise I'll probably just use my iphone..

The quick answer is yes you can choose between having the direction you're travelling in always up or North Up.....but I'm not sure where the setting is.
Simplest way to find out how to change the setting is to use mbrace (free trial) and ask them....or call your salesman.

You really need to study the Operator's manual and the COMAND manual.
These cars are complicated, not intuitive and often function differently from any other make of car.
Congrats on the car. Once you learn all its German/MB idiosyncrasies, you'll enjoy it.
Happy Motoring!

Congrats on the car you bought 4 years ago if you still own it!
