New to the forum - 2013 E350
Hey guys how's it goin, I've been around on the w204 side for the past couple years and recently moved up to a w212
Love the car so far, it is leaps and bounds beyond the C class.
Here's a pic of her I took today ..

I already ordered some wheels, hopefully should be in next week I'm pretty excited, went with these.. i'm not sure what the tire size is in this picture but i'm hoping the ones i went with arent as thin-sidewalled in the rear
I went with 245/35/19 x 275/30/19 tires on 8.5/9.5 et45 wheels

Got the wheels thrown on today, I love how they look!
On a side note, I've noticed that the car tracks in the ruts of the road horribly now.. I feel like i've got to fight the wheel to keep it straight, whereas the stock setup would just glide over everything... Is this common? I'm also slightly paranoid that Les schwab intentionally messed with my alignment or something -

The part that is curious though is that the car doesnt just track/pull in one direction, if the road slopes to the left, the wheel pulls to the left, if the road slopes to the right, it pulls to the right. if i change lanes and go over ruts in the lane the wheel pulls back and forth as I go over them.
I might have the dealer check it out or find someone I trust.

Much has to do with the lower tire profile. There is much less flex in the sidewalls, which tends to tighten up steering. What you are experiencing is normal for the type of wheels and tires you have chosen. You may be able to find a less agressive tire that may help. If it was only pulling to one side or the other, it would be alignment. That it is following the crown and slope of the road just says your setup agressivley tracks true to the road surface. Journalists tend to like the telegraphing of the road like this. I prefer a bit less info.

After a day or two of driving around, it feels much more normal, it was just a bit of a shock at first. Agreed that this is due to mainly the lower profile tire, also the increased width of the contact patch.
I got the wheels from usarim.com and I fully endorse them. One of the sellers on ebay (after I purchased the wheels, and they had charged my card) told me that they were actually out of stock and offered me some other vaguely similar wheel which I declined). I sent an email to usarim and after a quick discussion to decide the offset they were out the door, literally got a tracking number within a couple hours. great service all around.
