oddly enough 3 flats on stock conti tires, here the kicker, i didn't get the tire protection pkg. b/c I am going to install aftermarket wheels and tires 20's...

- but after my stock amg 18's seem to not be holding up against the street of NY/NJ area i thinking this is a bad idea! what gives? is an E350 just that heavy of car? or conti tires can't handle potholes? my brother same deal on his s550 has had 6 flats already with those tires?

previously i had a 2010 camaro SS running 22inch wheels and tires, the side walls had to be less then 3 inches and yet never an issue... plus Im pretty sure i pushed that car a lot harder then the benz.. On the SS i was running vredstein tires which i know have thinker sidewalls then most manufactures.... what do you guys think?

It is the suspension setup that compresses easily without much shock absorption.

check your infation pressure...maybe too low...not stiff enough whereby the tire gives too much.

Were the rims or tires damaged or just flat tires with no holes in them?

2 were flats, the side walls blow out and pop a hole 1/8 of an inch or so. .... the 3rd was a huge bubble which I replaced while replacing the flat. didn't want to worry about having a blowout while driving
