I cannot wait to build one. I am liking the look of it but I personally would prefer the sport package with the emblim on the hood. Wonder if its possible?

Newbie here. I've been yearning for a W212 Sport in white, but I love the 2014 in Cardinal Red. I won't buy one new - only CPO - so I guess I'll have to wait a little longer if I choose the Cardinal Red route. Also, I too miss the hood ornament on the 2014. It makes the car look a little too C-class like.
BTW - does anyone know if the 2014 model still considered a W212, or is the refresh significant enough to warrant a new "code"?

I do not understand why anyone would want to order the sport model with the large emblem in the grill and then still want to add the stand up star on the hood. The luxury version is very much in keeping with the look coveted by Mercedes tradionalists. The styling of the sport model front fascia is very aggressive and in my opinion the stand up star would look out of place. I commend Mercedes for offering the two distinctly different fascias as oppossed to just adding a more aggressive bumper cover. I'm really going to have to see the headlights in person before I form an opinion on them.
