service bulletins... Got to love em!
Thanks to the great sticky on service bulletins at the top of the forum - I was able to get some things fixed by dealer. Big props to konigstiger for hooking us up with the info. Thanks Man!
So after completely going completely through that thread, I accumulated a list of service bulletins, made an appointment, and crossed my fingers.
Service Bulletins fixed:
Got all the wood trim replaced.
Fixed the lump in the front seats.
Fixed the thumping sound from suspension.
Items I complained about that were not in Bulletins.
Vibration at Idle - gonna change trans mount (waiting for part)
Leather pealing on luxury back side of headrests - replacing both (waiting for parts)
Grinding noise going over speed bumps - Realigned front bumper, noise gone.
The service manager was real cool. Only issue I had was that I qualified for a bulletin about the rear bumper not being perfectly flush but they refused to fix. The rear bumper was previously repaired / repainted and because of this they said it wouldn't be covered under the service bulletin. Oh well, I guess you can't win them all.
Anyways, I'd recommend everyone take a look at that thread if you haven't already.
