I wanted to know if the typical Dealer Discount apply to configuring your own vehicle and having it built and sent over.

EVERYTHING is negotiable. Some dealer allotments aren't built yet so you can customize what you want. I am trying to negotiate a custom build on a 2014 E550. I've been offered $3k-4k off but was hoping for better.

I did it on my 2010. Depends on how bad sales rep and dealer want to sell a car. Also, how much you want to put down on a nonrefundable deposit.

Should be no difference. Bought 2 new MB's recently. Speced them out and got the same price as stock car. Also dealer ordered cars for me with NO deposit. They should be able to do this for you as long as you are not ordering something really weird. Told me that if I didn't want it they would put it into their stock. Bought both. 2012E &2013 GLK.

S212 2011 Wagon and Wife's 2014 C350 sedan.
Just special ordered a 2014 C350 for my wife. Dealer went to 8% off MSRP.
Plus have USAA discount. Much better than other local dealers.
