I took it to a performance shop. I am still pondering inserting some fibreglass to soften the crackle a little bit. I am not sure it will work as it does on some muscle cars, due to the way the pressure effects the J-Pipes.

I also feel the J-Pipes I have may be slightly the wrong length. It resonates too loud inside the car at lower RPM's. I cannot find the post that discussed that in one of these forums.

Ok thanks. I definitely want to hear the exhaust but don't want it to be crazy loud or drone too much.

The volume is perfect. The J-Pipe softens the sounds under normal load, but opens up under throttle.

The droning is there though... Which I believe can be fixed with the right length of J-Pipe.
