Did you design the Aztek?

That would explain a lot.

But really, designing cars would just be a pipe dream, and I'm sure I'm happier with what I'm doing now anyway. I'd rather be a critic as I can exercise my criticality which I hold so dearly.

You're right Hype...thanks for the advice. It's just a matter of those that can do and those than can't become professional forum criticer's.

I know, either you should design cars for a living or keep your mouth shut and open your wallet.

KA, you're acting like a real jerk! not YOU are a jerk, you're ACTING like a jerk....
get the difference? you seem to enjoy pushing peoples buttons here: you derive pleasure from this...........and that is assinine and not like the KA I have come to know over the past few years.......

we all know you can flex your writing skills and descriptive nature, but damn man, sometimes you seem like a real little kid trying to throw sand on people.....

I don't think you've read steelgreys mancrush posts against me then. Just check the E Coupe thread where he throws personal angst at me for correcting him for being insanely wrong.

Just 'cause I don't drive an M-B now doesn't change the reason why I'll criticize the brand or give me an ulterior agenda for doing so. I still have nothing but love for the M-B have praised in the recent years, which is the pre-facelift W212. The only times I get into tit-for-tats with other members is when the few who don't like my opinions start throwing personal sand.

Believe me, this isn't the only place where you have criticality going on. It's actually very tame in that regard.

To get this thread back on track via A7 VS W212, or M-B VS competition, here's a side by side I did with my 2010 (first) W212:

Damn, didn't know there was so much demand for a K-A Kar.

I'll only do it if I have 50% of the members here committing to buying it. Production will begin in my garage space. I will draw up the blueprints and get steelgrey to provide his vast array of experience in assuring it'll pass all safety regulations (though I'll handle the dimensions aspect I found that isn't his strong point). Hyperion of course will provide the bankroll.

It'll have a Standup Star on the hood pointing up over a BMW roundel base. The grille will have a glowing gigantic Star via lava-lamp technology. I'm calling it the "S Class Series Model S"

Oh, and I'll be outsourcing battery development to Elon Musk's Tesla. Yes, it'll be all Electric.... with gas engine sounds coming out of the speakers. You guys will love it.

Dont forget the 35" reverse spinning wheels

Oh Yeah, this would look so good on that K-A concept car - you are gonna need a larger battery

Spinners are a must indeed, 35" sounds about right. The larger battery will help accommodate my biggest design innovation yet: Spinners will spin WHILE THE CAR IS PARKED. They never stop spinning.

Of course, I will handle the marketing campaigns: "While the others park dead, your heart keeps spinning".

You know i really don't understand this. Open my wallet...for what?? As far as designing cars...I retired in 2002 so I have no interest...I get paid for doing nothing and that works for me.

In 1967 I entered the Air Force as an illustrator. You may not have been born yet K-A. After my discharge I went to detriot. Spent a short time there (5 years) and then was hired by the Army as a designer. Spent the next 34 years serving our country. I'm sure this is a concept that you K-A might have a problem grasping. But there are alot of vets out that understand.

It was sarcasm and was directed at myself via the picture you were trying to paint a'la "if you don't design cars your critiques have no merit".

Thank you for your service! However it doesn't give you the right to be a pestering a-hole. Sorry if my strong and developed opinions/critiques bother you, however remember: I'm the one debating cars here, you're the one *personally* debating "my" personality, time after time.

I wouldn't say steelgrey is an opinion forcer. More an opinion sensitive.... or perhaps opinion enforcer.

err, something like that.

By the way KA what do you do for a living??? Now don't pontificate and can you provide some kind of proof. I've already told you what I did before retirement. Time to prove yourself. You know your puppy Nuro is so cute.
