Returning my lease - bent rim(s)
I am picking up a new E350 lease sometime next week. Mercedes waived the last 3 lease payments on my current car, so my lease inspection will be when I pick up the new one.
I am 99% sure my car has a bent rim(s). At speeds 65mph+ the steering wheel vibrates. This happened after hitting a massive pot hole. I had the same symptoms the last time this happened, and it was a bent rim.
I looked at the rims both on the outside and under the car and there is no visible damage. They look brand new.
Should I fix this? I found a place that does RIM repair. Will I be charged for it when I return it? Anyone ever return a car with a bent rim?
Thanks!

I have never had a returning lease inspection include a test drive. Not only won't you be charged, I don't think that they will notice.

Lots of unsuspected buyers would not know how to get to the tire pressure menu yet until the feature demo while waiting for finance docs.

Great, thanks guys! Lucky for me, my lease inspector is the girl who is selling me my new car! I curbed under the front bumper and have a scrape on the back and she isn't charging me for them, so I won't even mention the rims.
And if I ever buy a CPO I know now what to look for!
