Opinions Needed: Color Options!

I applaud the color choice
and agree that more changes WILL drive your salesman crazy ... But, isn't that an occupational hazard of being a salesman?!My car, with the same exterior color and a black leather interior remains mostly cool in the latest heat due to good tinting and always parking with my sunshades (front and back) always up so I wouldn't worry with the lighter leather colors.
reasons for palladium over black were due to keeping the car cool in all the socal sunshine and keeping it (appearing) cleaner between washes & waxes. it's also a long-range diesel cruiser and keeping black looking tip-top would be a nightmare. porcelain seats will also help keep the cool after a day in the parking lot at work.
i'm still torn over the decision, but can now rest easy at least.
ultimately, it came down to this logic:
1.) cars with nice blue-based metallic paint tend to change right before your eyes depending on the lighting.
2.) this paint is listed as "indigo" which sits right on the fence between blue and violet. it is both blue and violet.
3.) due to #1 and #2, this car will sometimes appear to be purple.
4.) therefore, this car is purple.
not to mention the fact that even if it was all blue and gray, it is not what i was expecting it to look like anyway. so, onward...
kinda not feeling the porcelain leather anymore either, but figure the sale's guys would flip out if i tried to change that too!
If, on the other hand, you generally wear suits and light colored Docker type pants then you should be fine.

I have been very happy with my Pallidium Silver and light gray interior. Have had no problems with the interior, but I do not wear blue jeans and never have. Of course mine is MBTex, so that may be a factor.
I prefer light interiors because it keeps interior cooler and psychologically makes it seem larger and more open or brighter.
Regardless, Happy Motoring!

Go Palladium Silver. It probably is the best color for these cars. I had one and it is AWESOME. Also the easiest color to keep clean, i.e. you don't see it is dirty that easy so you don't need to wash it nearly as often as some other colors, like black is almost every day...

Well, should have read the thread further to see you actually changed the color to the Palladium Silver so disgard my earlier post. Very good choice regardless what the interior has.
