2014 Order timeline?
Did anyone order a 2014 in early June or close to that date?
My dealer had no updates and was wondering when I can expect it to arrive (estimate so I can plan a few things out). I am guessing they should be able to pinpoint where it is along the assembly line by now.
I must admit BMW had a seamless build website that was very accurate for me.
I am thinking by the 26th it should be here.

Also wondering about delivery date!
I ordered a 2014 GLK350W4 May 19th, so I suspect the order got processed and submitted in early June. Problem is, I have got no timeline (aside from the initial paperwork stating a "decade planned" of 13/06-1, a "decade scheduled" of 13/06-2, and a "est prod. date" of 2013/06/2D"). I'm assuming these mean first week, second week, and (maybe) second half of June; anyone know the code? I've asked to be kept informed, since the salesman/sales manager knows I'm the inquisitive type. I don't know if my salesman/dealer in Tacoma, WA is a slug, or if they really aren't getting any info from MB.
It's getting frustrating, since I like to know what the hell is going on, especially when $50k is involved. I understand that it is very early in the 2014 manufacturing process, and I may have jumped the gun on the new model, but if they're willing to take an order, they at least ought to make an attempt to keep loyal customers informed.
If this continues much longer, with a "your car's here" as the first thing I hear from the dealer, I might just tell him to stuff it, and go back to BMW where they seem to care about informing the customer. Just look at the video clips and detailed info on the website, as well as the dealer actually having brochures and paint/upholstery samples (what's your problem, MB?) Include the build videos BMW provides on the X3 from the US plant, and that's what I expect from a manufacturer!

I ordered a 2014 E550 4Matic June 6 and was told a mid-July build with August delivery. My salesman called me last week to tell me they finished the build and car is on ship with a July 23-25th delivery!

Mine was the same as JD, 2014 E350 June and was told mid-July build with late July delivery or early aug. Keep myself informed with my dealer and I believe each dealer may handle the service differently.

my advise is just forget you even ordered it until the dealer calls,
but the reward is great

Yeah I feel you. I'm going to be without a car for more than a month and will have to rent until the new one arrives. This time of year where I am is heavy tourist season and so the rental rates are pretty brutal. Oh well.... I had a serious buyer for my current car and I just couldn't pass the offer up. Maybe I'll rent a Yaris or something to keep cost down. Will make me appreciate the Merc even more![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Any updates? I heard that ours in early june should be here very soon for a July delivery. The boat left a few days ago so should be at your dealer within 1-5 days depending how far you are from the port!

Thanks! Hope you gets yours real soon! I took the dark grey with black trim over the white with chestnut leather at my dealership. Lost the active contour (which I tried on the CLS550 and that was super fun) along with pano roof but being from Texas and since my current E has pano I took the darker of the two. Been happy since
This car is a looker thanks to those headlights. I was not expecting that at all!

Congrats, the headlamp design is awesome and makes the car look more outstanding that it was before ( I saw two of them coming from opposite lane yesterday ) my only complaint on the exterior wise is the grill design but everyone is entitled to their opinion generally speaking
