If you have received a 2014 with LED headlights in the US, have you determined if the full Adaptive High Beam is enabled in the US or if they have limited its functionality. The owner's manual isn't clear on the subject. My local dealer has one CLS550 on the floor with LED lights, but it isn't dark during business hours now and the car is on the showroom floor.

So, if you have the lights, is the Adaptive High Beam Assist enabled?

This is a video that shows the functionality I'm hoping to see:

I didn't hear about any functionality cutoff. I just turn on the highbeams and it's automatically under Adaptive assist.

The first video is about Adaptive High Beam assist plus

North America gets adaptive high beam assist.

It will not split the beam around a car you are following. It will just dip the lights.

I thought the difference there is between xenons, which have that rotating mask, and the LEDs, which have individual shutters. Both use the adaptive headline feature to rotate the beam.

The 7-series owners on the BMW forum report the feature is turned in just high beam on/off on US models. One owner said he was able to alter the configuration codes (call coding, a relatively common BMW mod) and enable the feature.
