Remove Circuit Board Key Fob - Help
Searched high an low for an answer to this one and only found info on older keys. I am loking to remove the circuit board on this FOB type (A). I don't see any way ro get the chrome peice (the end where the manual key is stored) Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Yes I saw this video and it makes it appear as if there is a latch that you just need to release but there isn't - at least that I can see. Someone even posted on the video thread that it doesn't open that easily and the OP never responded.

I understand you want to take the guts out of model A and install them in model B, correct?
What is the benefit of doing this?

@mountainrivera, it might not actually be that simple as the earlier model was locked from the inside. The video on YouTube makes it look but there is no hinge there. I haven’t really been able to open this but I did try this once long time ago. You can try to place a small screw driver slightly between the plastic and the chrome which will separate them a bit. Doing this will actually give an idea where the internal lock is, once you know the position of the internal lock, place the screw driver near it and press it in to open. Doing so can crack the key as well so please note that you’ll be doing this at your own risk?
