2014 E350 - Porcelain Black Interior?
I'm getting close to configuring my options. I want a lighter interior and don't like the standard grey so I'm leaning towards the tan (cashmere) mb-tex. I didn't think the leather upgrade feels any more like leather than mb-txt so I wasn't going to get it.
That said I noticed this porcelain black combo available only in leather. Has anyone seen it in person? I have a similar set in my 2011 535i and really like it.

I have the porcelain/black leather interior along with the black ash wood trim. Was originally going to go all black but sat in one vehicle and it was too hot inside. I really like the porcelain/black leather and especially like the contrast of the aluminum against the black ash wood. Though I am curious where is the black leather.

It looks great but requires a fair bit of maintenance. You will also find the blue from jeans transmits to the seats. I base this on my ownership of a light beige interior in my 2011 E350.
That being said, it is fairly easy to clean with a good leather cleaner.

It depends on what you wear. If blue jeans or similarly dyed pants and tops are your thing, then you'll spend lots of time trying to keep the seats clean. If you're more of the suit and khakis kind of driver then the cleaning requirements will be quite acceptable.

I just ordered just about the same car that JDH shows above, but have several light color interior cars. This is your key to happiness: http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/...urPicks&page=2

2014 Sport White on black
I have the same interior color combination and I LOVE IT! Easy maintenance too. Just buy Meguirar's Leather & Vinyl cleaner spray on seats to keep looking new. But generally they stay clean and look much better than black. My last MBZ had black and it got scratched real easy plus the fake brown wood trim looked aged. Where as the light grey do not show anything. I also Mequiar's NXT for the black/zebra wood trim (which takes out any mini-scratches and looks better than new). Took my car to the dealership last week and the staff reported how well and new my car still looked on the inside. Asked if anybody every sat in the passengers seats. While my car was at the dealership (last two times) I was given loaners with black/suede and red leather. In both cases the seats showed dirt real easy. In fact the black/suede was the worst. I was eating free cookies (from the dealership) on my way to work and a few crumbs landed on the driver seat. When I exited I noticed streaks. Even though, I liked both interiors it required too much maint for me.

I had the nappa porcelain in my last E and in my current ML and it is beautiful. The comments about jeans are correct but it's very easy to clean. MB makes a decent leather cleaner as well.

2014 E350 Wagon
Ordered the exact color combo for my wagon. Can't wait to get it! less than 2 weeks to go! I'm coming from an Oyster/black BMW E90 and the maintenance on the leather is really not as bad as some make it out to be. And I have two kids under 10 and wear jeans to work. No issues.

I would have gotten the Porcelain/Black Leather if I had the option to. It looks really nice! But the only 2014 E550 in my area still left on the lots without Black Leather was one with 258 Grey/Black Leather. Very similar to the Porcelain/Black except instead of the creamy white it's a very light gray. I was concerned about blue jeans as well but so far, it seems fine.
