Replacing MBTex seat covers with leather???

I just got my 2014 E350 that has MB Tex. It is the first MB I have owned, in many years, that doesn't have leather. I believe I made a mistake since the vinyl seems hotter and my but perspires. I had read many comments about how people like MB Tex so I thought I would give it a try.
It's hard to believe that my $63k car didn't come with leather standard as on many competitive luxury cars so I wouldn't have had to make this choice. Now, I would like to know the least costly way to switch the front seat covers to leather?

How about alcantara / suede covers along with your MB TEX / ARTICO , they do look wicked in AMG versions
Leather is an upscale compared to other materials but I didn't like the way they design the seat pleats in leathers unless you pick up Exclusive leather option for Nappa

A good upholster should be able to take out your seats, take of the mb tex covers, cut out the centers(where your butt makes contact/and back) and replace with leather. while your at it I would do a nice stitched pattern, maybe diamond. anyway your looking at around $1000

+1 on the upholsterer. A friend of mine did this to replace the leather on his old MB.

Thanks for the ideas. I will go to a Phoenix shop that does a lot of auto upholstery. It is called Top Shop.

Actually, they are all seat covers. Had leather ones replaced in an Rx-7 convertible one time under warranty and it was real simple and quick for dealer to do it.
Ironically, the new top of the line Toyota RAV-4 SUV now comes with Sof-Tex seats. Leather no longer available.
Personally I have been real happy with my MB-Tex seats compared to three previous cars with leather.
