I'm self-employed, I own a commercial property management company and my "main squeeze" I flip properties with a partner nationwide that we buy in pools from several financial institutions.

Difficult to say exactly what I do as its constantly changing. "Making problems go away" is how I usually summarize it. Work background is in mech & electrical engineering/automation. Education's in science & medicine.
Currently working for an accounting firm working on fraud and forensics. I'm not an accountant by any means, but my background suits me well for this -- how best can I get a computer to do my job? That's what I do. Currently have an off-site data center/server farm going for these guys (and some of our partner attorneys) which is constantly OCRing and looking for relationships and patterns in documents and news articles. Just last week the system was able to find links between three separate, individual cases the office had worked and a current case. Apparently the fraud world is very small.
Not sure what's next. I never know or what the next phone call may bring.

22. I'm a smaller scale real estate developer, building spec homes as well as flipping them; I aspire to be in the commercial development industry later in life, with a goal of developing the first Residences at the Mandarin Oriental Vancouver as well as securing an exclusive agreement for developing MO's in Canada (lofty goal I know ). I also occasionally do some interior design for clients as well as consultation for them.
