what do you do for a living?

No they had me make like a $50 charitable donation and they completely waived the ticket. I was going 30 over so it would've been a pricey ticket. 88 in a 55 but he marked me going 85 on the ticket and then like I said he indicated somehow that I cooperated with him.

Retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer. Never made a great deal of money on government salary but saved as much as I could to help the retirement pension. My Social Security kicked in a few years ago and gave me a little extra money to afford a nice ride. I went out right away and bought my first MB - and could not be happier. I hope my next car is a V8 Eclass coupe!

Whatever you want, if the pay is commensurate. I am currently a Police Inspector for the Federal Government to fund my long term care plan which I will need if I keep pushing my lead foot down on my Merc. I have had some bad luck on the road driving 100 miles a day (it is just the odds) with the day to day incompetent motorist in the b2b worst traffic state on third world roadways in USA, Oahu, Hawaii. These are facts not whines.

I am closing in on 70 yrs old fast now. Got my first MB when I was 22. I've had some interesting ones along the way. The 2010 E350 is my wife's latest fashion accessory. I spend my time in my '96 C 280 (W202) that I bought nearly four years ago with only 13,800 miles on it from the proverbial little old lady who only drives it to synagogue. It now has almost 46k miles and runs really nice. It's driving a "new old car"...
I have a business repairing antique clocks and watches. We have a good business since we run it (and live) in an upmarket New York suburb. We are in our tenth year. It is not easy work, and like they say "If it was easy, everybody would be doing it" So in fact we have little competition which is a benefit pricing-wise.
Before that, I spent 30 years in the finance world, mostly based in Paris, France. I was an Asian Equity fund manager and then Institutional Sales to pension funds, mutual funds, and the like.
My retirement career being self-employed takes more time and effort than the previous career. And has far less benefits !!
I change oil, filters, and do other basic maintenance on both cars.

Retired corridor manager for Uncle Pete railroad work there 35 years. My wife has work there 33 years and is still there for another four years. She claim she likes the work and it's still fun, I said she likes the money. We did okay money wise, we both work our way up from the bottom of the ladder, she doesn't have a degree. My Merc was her retirement gift to me. I guess I' ll get her a CPO S550 when she retires and just travel, we both love road trips.

Registered RN- mid 40's, definitely not a 1% but have made "good choices"
First Benzo was a 1985 380se-'bought it in 2004 for $2k! Loved it.
Second Benzo was a 2010 e350. Totaled 8-5-15. Now looking at an e550 vs. cls and hope to have it in a few days. After driving the 8 cylinder, couldn't think of another e350!!!

Banker for a big bank. Still only 5 years into my career but having a budget and discipline with how I spend money allowed me to afford nice cars. There's nothing like owning a benz!

I see a lot of finance people here. Good to know we have similar taste in vehicles. Also I see quite a few IT's guys on this spool.
I was hoping to see more blue collar types even construction , waste management etc. I know some people who make great money in those fields.

Certified Tig,Mig,Stick Welder Been welding close to 36 years now , Been doing a lot of high pressure pipe for the propane industry . Bought my 2012 E 350 last year in Dec, traded in my beloved Corvette for it. Became a Granddad for the first time and felt it would be kinder to put the little one in the nice back seat of the Benz rather than shove her under the hatchback

Jahquan, you forgot that they are always employed and never looking for a job-trade secret buddy-my mom told me that when I was about 8 years old-she said everyone needs to get rid of the trash one way or the other and son you are good at it-you will never be unemployed.
