USB Music Interface Cable
My 2010 E350 didn't come with the USB interface cable for attaching a thumbdrive for music. It did come with the Ipod cable but my old Ipod only held 8gb which was not enough room for my needs. Not wanting to buy another Ipod, I searched for a USB media cable that was cheaper than what MB had to offer. I found a company on line that had the cable for under $10.00. I got it today and loaded a 32gb thumbdrive with music and plugged it in the car. It works instantly and flawlessly. It also fits perfectly in the port for the ipod cable. Nice. But I discovered that Android phone with BT and 64Gb SD card cover my needs better. So I do not know why I need any cable at all. BTW my Lexus has just standard USB plug, so no any special cables need, why MB doesn't do so?

Yeah, I had a Lexus. It died at 49000 miles from engine failure due to the oil sludge scandal.
