2014 E350 rear half shelf noise
I have a 2014 E350 and there is a clicking sound that comes from behind the rear half shelf on the drivers side. It seems to happen when the frame flexes a little rather than going over bumps. I have had it back to the dealer no less than 8 times to be fixed but they cannot seem to find it. the technicians can hear it on test drives but cannot find the problem. has anyone else had this problem and what has been the outcome?

My 2013 had a popping noise that seemed to be correlated to temperature increases. Now that it is winter, I notice a lot less noise. I had my car in 3 times, they completely disassembled the rear deck, replaced the sunshade (not needed IMO - I think they were just guessing), and lubricated or lined with felt all areas where two parts meet. The creak and pop was greatly reduced, but not eliminated, and I still get a faint click from the rear area when hitting bumps.

2014 Mercedes Benz E350
Have that same problem with my 14' as well. Whenever I go over a speed bump or just regular road, there's a shaking noise. It's pretty annoying

I will be taking her in to get this covered under warranty; anyone able to get this narrowed down, or know the exact TSB on this?

I have a 16 now, and it still has an occasional creak from the rear area, always when in direct sunlight. Less than the 13, maybe my ears are tuned for it now - I just ignore it (or try, kind of OCD about noises). I have little doubt it is a plastic expansion issue. It sometimes happens when the car isn't even running, not connected to bumps in this case.
