Command Update Help Dealership clueless
#52
If your car is under warranty you can get the update for free. Told my service advisor my radio infrequently cuts in and out for no reason and I can't always reproduce the issue. His response was let's update the COMAND software to the latest version to see if that fixes the issue. My response, "ok no problem". By the way, it did fix the issue.

I was able to get the command upgraded because the POI do not show up on the map when setting destination by POI.

someone tries to help others out and gets crap for it... that stinks is all I can say.. but then there are always people that like to deflate the world and everyone helping others out.

If after buying this car you cannot afford to buy a legal copy of the map data for $250 or so every two or three years you went and bought the wrong car. Everyone do what they want and wish but I feel I should be able to post my opinion about it without others spilling their milk over it.
And I feel just the same about music CDs. I do copy them in my car's memory but I own a legal copy of every disk I copy.
I may feel different about this but I do have family and friends in both music business composing and performing music and making software. These people would be out of business if all folks just copy their product.
Shame on people doing illegal copying, period!
