2010~2014 E350

Hey Guys,

Before I make any more purchases from MB I want some advice from you guys. People here actually know what they are talking about

Anyways long story short had to take my 10 e350 back to the dealer today because my check engine light came back on. It makes me frustrated because I just got it back and now have to take it right back. Don't get me wrong I love abusing these C300s they give me but I love my own car way better! My sales guy was in the showroom and was like what are you doing back, explained that car was acting up again...

He told me he can get me into a 2014 E350 4Matic Sport with *21 miles* P1 Bi-Xenons Pano. No keyless go or lane tracking... The car is polar white w/black mb text. MSRP is $62,000 and he can get exactly $10,000 off after I sign up for Costco membership?

Now to my trade I paid almost $39,000 in October w/33k miles now I have 36k miles. They offered me $34,000? $5,000 loss??? I really don't like the front end without the DRL but the interior is on a another freaking level.!!! Plus I feel like my car sometimes has lag when I floor it, there there definitely wasn't any lag when I drove the 14 demo they had.

I feel like $10,000 off is a deal of a life time lol for brand new car with 21 miles. Please any insight is highly appreciated.

Thanks MB World and Happy New Year's Eve!!

Is there somewhere in the manual a small print saying that the check engine light may come ON for getting you back to the dealer for a new car...?

Only MBs - the best or nothing
OP, IMHO take the deal. FYI: last month I traded-in my 2010 E350 with 21K miles for $30K (was original owner) and was happy about it. I also know that dealership re-sold it for just under $35K as a CPO. At the same time, I also traded-in my 2012 E350 with 10K miles for $37.5K (also original owner) - they resold it (like new condition) the same day as a CPO for about $41K. Assuming your 2010 was a CPO too, you still overpaid by quite a bit, so if they give you $34K for it now - take it (if you can afford of course).

Lol I think it's a new option! The SA called like 30mins ago they still can't figure out why it's coming on? They reset it again and said come pick it up.

After they turned off the check engine light, get the car appraised at Carmax

I think you can do better on that deal, they should come down more on that car. Act interested, then pull away, act interested and then pull away, then go get the best deal - make that dealer bite on the challenge of selling you the car you actually want
