2013 Mercedes-Benz E350 (luxury)
Thumbs up Picking up my 2013 E350 today!

This is my first MB, so I'm very excited!

First, I'd like to thank Mike Margolis for helping me with all the ins-and-outs of making this particular purchase. He not only provided his personal experience with his MB, but also introduced me to this great forum, sent along MB forum articles, dealership specials, etc. So a sincere debt of gratitude to Mike.

My previous car was a 2007 Volvo S40 that was purchased mid-2006, so we certainly got a lot of use out of it and it still has life left in it. My mother-in-law's Volvo finally died after a life of 340,000 miles, so our Volvo will go to her with only a comparatively young 125,000 miles on it.

Without further ado, my CPO 2013 Mercedes-Benz E350, P1 & luxury package. CPO (13k miles), provides an extended warranty that is good until December 2017 or 100,000 miles. The only additional option that I purchased from the finance manager is the pre-paid maintenance. It is basically half the cost of paying for each individual service, which occur at 10k mile intervals.

The list of features:

2013 E350 4MATIC®, Mercedes-Benz Certified, 4D Sedan, 3.5L V6 DOHC Direct Injection, 302hp, 7-Speed Automatic, Black, and Almond Beige Mb. Nav. Thanks to the forum for all of the great contributions, which helped me make an educated purchase.

Cheers,
Joe

Very nice - looks brand new! I like the color combo and that's what I have in my car also.

What was the asking price and how much did you pay for it?

Here's what is in the pp maint.

The 20k miles is the oil change plus a handful of checks and brake fluid change

At 30k an oil change and cabin filter replacement

Last is 40k is identical to the 20k plus a transmission fluid change and engine air filter change.

As detailed to me, about $800-ish of savings by pre-paying.

p.s. The first song I played was Michael Buble's "It had better be tonight". Great instrumental and vocal mix to test the sound. Then Andrea Bocelli "Amapola" for the high-C. Last in the sequence of the first three......wait for it.....Metallica "Enter Sandman" to test the on-ramp highway giddy-up!!! It made me giggle like a schoolgirl.

Congrats on the very classy ride.

For audio demo there should be a disc in the glove compartment to test your surround sound system?

I also have a 2013 E350 but it's a BlueTec and I noticed our Canadian model has the new steering wheel like the 2014 model.
Is it not the same in the US?

Yes, the salesman played the disc and it is amazing. The walking, helicopter, etc., so cool.

Not sure about the steering wheel. Maybe one of the other members can answer.

Looks beautiful! You will love it. I'm convinced these are the best luxury sedans of there class that have ever been made. Drive great and truly tank like. I've had mine for three years and no problems and still solid as could be. Fit and finish absolutely first rate. Enjoy. Regards. Ned.

Very nice ride. You should be a happy camper for a long time. Smart to let someone else depreciate the car.

Ah! I believe that is for the sport package. My car has the luxury package and that may be the delta.
