Anyone ever buy e63 wheel replicas?i

I've been cruising eBay and found a set of 19" e63 replicas. Anyone ever gone this route? Spring is coming in March and I want to take the stock 18s off. Any affordable wheel retailer or option would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance!

I would much prefer buy a set of use real E63 from someone that went with a forged 3 piece rather than putting a 30lbs wheel replica but that is me. The replicas can easily be spotted. Like I said, you would be much better of even buying some real AMG twin spokes from a older 2006 E55 AMG or something of that nature

I am also curious what is the strength of the Aftermarket wheels vs OEM ones.

Here In DC there is a ton of potholes this winter and I have 2 bent OEM 18"rims.

Also had W211 rims damaged from potholes last year.

Any advice on if the aftermarket rims are stronger or weaker being heavier etc?

Not necessarily concerned with weight just for looks and I also don't care much about people judging if they aren't real just like the look of the wheel and don't feel like spending a ton of money. The aftermarket route is always an option too just curious if anyone had actually purchased them and to what satisfaction.

I would recommend this source - http://www.powerwheelspro.com/shop/

I've used their C63 replica rims for 5 years in my previous W204 and they worked fine. I do a lot of driving in DC, but haven't had any issues with potholes as I'm always on a lookout to avoid them. I may be selling mine in next couple of months with DWS mounted that I got last summer.

I too may be going the same route as you down the road and looking for e63 replicas, so would be interested in knowing other sources that people here have used for affordable and good quality rims. The originals are always a better choice, but too expensive to spend on wheels. I always keep my originals and mount them back when I trade in my car.

Good call; but since I do my own brakes I won't be paying the exorbitant fee at the dealer so we shall see.

Any other insight? I talked to power wheels pro and they will do a wheel tore package for a decent price.

I wish my car had the AMG 18s. This would be handled haha

I have seen several guys purchase them here. Perhaps they are not regular forum visitors.
Do a search and you should find some.
I think they would be a good purchase, from the pictures I have seen they look really good..

I got mine from OEMWheelsplus.com. Click my name and check my older threads. I have a bunch of photos from 2 years ago.

They are great wheels and from what I've experienced, OEM wheels are a reputable company who has safety standards for their wheels.
