Illuminated star mod !!!
As I meantion on another post went down to my car one morning and my grill emblem was gone. So I figure I replace it with the led star as I seen in the w166 ML forum a guy from Italy had it done with out putting the oem set up. So it can be turned on when he wants. The connection was to a dimmer. power source was taken from a t10 bulb unlike the new e class our head lights is all led instead of the high beams. Any help on how I can set it up ? I was thinking fuse box or batt for power , relay and a switch to turn on and off when I please . But then It won't light up when I unlock the doors as the factory set up any ideas. Can I tap in to the drl ?
