Extended Warranty is About to Expire

Good morning Gents,

I have a 2011 E550, P2, Airmatic with 97,000 miles.

So far the repairs that have been made are
- Command control knob replacement
- Starter replacement
- Thermostat
- Camshaft vent oil leak
- Airmatic compressor

As my warranty will be expiring 100,000 miles, is there anything I should try to get fixed or replaced before my time is up? the airmatic shocks look ok. my mechanic advised that maybe we should do the intake manifold as he said those are prone to going back due to some plastic parts that break.

anything else I should be on the look out for?

I would check every feature (i.e. seat heaters, roller shade, etc.) and use several times to make sure there are no issues. Also if you have a pano roof, go over some speed bumps at an angle to check for popping.

Are you planning to keep car out of warranty?

Thought they fixed the plastic flap issue in the w212 intake manifolds? Had it replaced in my w211.

check your wood. If you have the burl walnut wood trim. They tend to fade

If your airmatic is all good then there isn't much left to check. Sounds like you have had great luck with the ride. Congrats.

Usually that's not covered by the extended or CPO warranty, just the new car warranty because it's considered cosmetic. Make sure seat heaters work and just have the car scanned for any codes. I think alternators also go in that mileage range.
