Volume control for Navi guidance...

Hi All:

Was wondering if anyone knows if there is any separate volume control for the Navi route guidance? We are getting the "the voice" guidance but it is very soft and can still hear the radio music louder then the control voice.

TIA.

When you hear the navi voice press the volume button up. You need to do it while the navi voice is sounding, otherwise you are adjusting the radio volume.

On my 2010 model the navigation volume must be adjusted with the center console knob while it is speaking, not with the buttons on the wheel. This is also stated in the manual.

I don't know if this has changed for the later models.

If you need to adjust it right away, use the COMAND knob to select RPT in Navi which repeats what was last said. This also unmutes Navi if you have it muted.

Has the manual been updated. This is what the MB USA manual for a 2010 W212 says:

Here is a picture from the manual ion my car. I'm now wondering if my manual is actually a old edition as it says to select that "ear" picture when in the car it actually says "RPT" for "repeat".

I was trialing with it and it seems it works from both the cluster knob and the buttons in the wheel so it seems my manual is old edition.

2014 E550-sold 😩
My 2010 adjusts from either, so I think you have the wrong manual there.
