Yup, deciding what spring is best. Hopefully, get rid of the gaps

Yeah it will look really good once you get rid of the gaps. Coilovers are the way to go if you don't have airmatic suspension.

Very Nice A Set of H&R or Vogtland Springs would definitely get rid of the gaps.

You should always do an alignment after any suspension work

I didn't do one but eNNcity is right you should get an alignment
when you change wheels/suspension.
