New (to us) 2012 E350 Bluetec!
Picked up this car and loving it! Oddly enough we already had the car...sort of.
We had the exact same car as a lease that we turned in then bought this. Both cars are the exact same year, exact same exterior and exact same interior colors.
The new car however is better in a few ways...less miles (21k), more options that the old car didn't have (P2 package, Bi-xenon headlights with Active Curve Illumination, Keyless Go, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, automatic trunk closer, 115V power outlet), and more warranty (CPO vehicle so it has an additional year of warranty past the standard 4 year warranty and unlimited mileage).
To top it off, we got it for $36,700 (sticker price was $44,991) which is $5,900 less than what our lease buyout would have been.
Gotta put some tint on it and add a roof spoiler and should be good for now, until it's time for new tires at which point might do some bigger wheels too.

2012 E350 Bluetec
Congrats on a great looking Bluetec !!!
Your photo of the centre consul shows the closed 'drink holder' cover and the differences in fading between the various pieces of trim. The dash pieces are also showing obvious fading.
Since your car is still covered by the factory warranty, I would suggest that you initiate a claim for replacing the faded burl walnut trim. MBUSA would cover the cost of replacing all pieces of wood trim in your car. The parts alone cost about $2500 !!! New trim would definitely add value to your Bluetec !

Thanks for the picture drsaab, great way to see the difference. Did you get rid of the run flats then I assume? Do you have a tire repair kit on board or how did you handle that end of it?
And yea, I may buy the additional warranty. I assume it can be purchased at any time before the current CPO warranty runs out?

I keep one 17" in the trunk. Haven't needed the trunk yet for suitcases etc. In my other thread You can see a pothole killed the rim and that no tire repair kit could fix. A runflat would probably not work either on that so it would have been a tow if I didn't have the spare in the trunk.
The warranty is cheaper in the first 30 days by 10-15% and refundable if you total or sell the car and is transferable too.

I'm loving the car...took it out for a drive in the dark last night for the first time and whole crap the lights are AWESOME! The adaptive hi-beams are freaking cool, total wow factor. They light up the road like crazy too!
Keyless entry is very nice too, takes some getting used to though...not taking the keys out of your pocket to unlock/lock or start/stop the car. I keep reaching to turn the key off only to find there is no key there.

I had Huper Optik Drei tint on the leased car and I have the same tint on my A4 so I'm thinking of going with the same on this car, I really like it and don't see a reason to go with something else.
