first if you are just out of warranty, see if your local MB dealer can offer you the extended MB warranty which is the best coverage. They may be able to get you an exception if you it just past the warranty. If not, they should also have 3rd party options for you like Fidelity. While you're there, you should ask service which warranties they feel are better to work with (i.e. cover more, deny fewer claims) and then research where you can get those.
well since your miles are below 35k. This is a excellent warranty at what I call a steal of a price. 48/48 for $2594.
I have this on my wifes car. It skyrockets in price after 35k miles.
This is sold from some credit unions. This one is Community first credit union in Jacksonville. You can call the warranty company and see if any credit unions in your area have this plan offered.

my credit union offered a plan (not sure who was 3rd party) but miles only went out to 75k total on odometer (not 75k from miles at purchase). So be sure to check terms because what I mostly saw when I shopped was that time (months) runs from purchase of warranty and miles already includes what your odometer says (not miles since purchase). So if you buy a 48/48k mileage warranty you may only get 18k miles of coverage on a 30k miles car.
The $60,000 price tag for a 2010 AMG seems high( very high ).
Here is a comparison.
2 months ago, I paid $69,500 ( before tax ) for a 2012 AMG E63 with limited slip, P30 performance package with 21,000 miles. It has all of the options except night view assist and pano.
Being a 2012 model, it still has a little shy of 2 years factory warrant left and 1 year extended warranty.
Based on your find of $60,000 plus about $2,000 for an extended warranty. You are looking about $62,000 or so for a 2010 version a 2012 model minus a $7,300 P30 Performance package.
I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a 2010 E63 AMG Black on Black with the P2 Performance Package. This would be my first AMG and a big upgrade from my current 2011 GLK 350. The car has 15k miles, clean title, 1 owner. They are asking for $60k.
I'm just trying to do my due diligence as I believe the 2010 E63 was the first generation of the W212 AMG and I've heard of some horror stories with how expensive upkeep can be on an AMG. Is this a good purchase in your eyes? How will the car hold up over time? I'm happy that it's a very low mileage E63 for the 2010 year, but it only has 3 more months of factory warranty I believe, then I'm on my own I guess.
Thanks for all your input, it's appreciated. - Sammy
