need advice on new tranny and prepaid maintenance
My car hit 40K miles and needs the transmission service. I found out my tranny was making a noise and it needs a new tranny under warranty.
I have pre-paid maintenance which covers the tranny service, but since I'm getting a new tranny it won't need the tranny service.
Anyone have any advice on what I should ask for? Or just let it go since I'm getting a new tranny.
I basically paid for tranny service and won't be getting the service.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Just think of it this way, the pre-paid tranny service now not only include the fluid, but also a whole new transmission!

I would discuss with MBUSA and see if they'll extend your warranty a bit due to the new transmission and the fact that you have paid for trans service that won't apply... they can give you another 1 year of bumper to bumper warranty

Damn, new tranny at 40k? I better get my service done, I just went over 40. Terrifying that the transmission can go bad that quickly. Are you an aggressive driver? I'm trying to understand how it could have failed so quickly.
